Retired by breeder due to owner inactivity and age of horse. 12/6/19 horsesforever.proboards.com/thread/59903/reclaim-9-4-19
from her page Star has sadly never been shown. There are many years of her life that are unknown, however it appears she was well taken care of and from her general level of fitness she was not just a pasture pet. In fact when C&H Ranch got this mare back she was in peak physical fitness and showed great jumping talent. It was clear in fact she not only could jump the height to be a grand prix jumper but had the control and training to do so as well. Could she have possibly been showing just below the top level jumping in some other country such as Russia? It is known that she was found in Germany by another breeder and recognized from a tiny star shaped scar on her chest she got as a filly. Megan of C&H was contacted and brought this girl back, DNA confirmed it was indeed Star. We were incredibly lucky to be offered this girl for our Anglo-Arabian breeding program. We had been looking for a Topside daughter for sometime as we only had a Gelding by him and no way to carry these wonderful bloodlines on. Topside was a Jack of all trades shooting to stardom and the top in everything from Dressage to Eventing. He was an even better sire passing his lovely nature and conformation to all his foals. He had foals winning in everything from Racing to Eventing. Star could not have a better Arabian dam than Princess Kostalot. She was queen of C&H Ranch and just as well bred as Topside. She was bred to be an Endurance horse with a pedigree featuring multiple Tevis cup winners. Her offspring too have dominated many competitions in HF.
