Willa looks white but was born with some color on her ears which faded with age. Her sire did the same thing, he too looked like a white horse but had sabino, overo, Lp, dun and roan genes all of which he passed on to offspring on both colored and non-colored mares. Willa's dam did have some sabino genes as well.
