Tina: This is a wild idea but has anyone considered putting the registry in Discord? It would be a huge undertaking to transfer it but I use Discord for most social things at this point and you can organize it really nicely with forum channels!

Tina: Wouldn't work for results sadly since there's text limits... but it would be more reliable to search for horses lmao.

Tina: I guess no coding for the pedigrees would be another downside, but we could always screenshot and paste them in... I dunno, just trying to think how to modernize storage!

shan: I'll be back to catch up in just a few days. It's been a rough start to the week.

Lori: Not a fan of moving things unless absolutely necessary. I'm too old to learn new stuff....

Lin - Hidden Star Farm: I forgot that I changed the color theme on my forum. Just logged in and was really confused

Jennifer: Looks like there were loads of Support requests on the 18th/19th about upstream connect errors. Not sure what the issue was, but looks like the IT guys resolved it pretty quickly.

Jennifer: From what I can gather, we're not in any danger of Proboards shutting down. They have millions of users and Lord knows how many millions of forums. Apparently within the first 3 years of PB being online, they had 1 million unique users and by the 4th year,

Jennifer: 1 million forums were active. That was apparently 2003/2004. I'm curious how many there are now 😅 I also don't believe ours is anywhere near the largest, though we may be one of the oldest forums that is still active

Jennifer: I think we switched to Proboards in April 2003 (judging by Megan & Chelsea's forum registration dates).

Jennifer: The forum should have been re-indexed earlier this week. Any more problems with Search?

Bexley: Ughhh what a rough week! I spent almost all my free time studying so now that the Italian exam is over and I only have one class tomorrow that I already did the reading for I'm not letting myself do a single school thing tonight after a much needed nap LOL

Lin - Hidden Star Farm: It's been raining good all day. Other than a light sprinkle the other day, this is the first time it's rained in weeks. Our town and the surrounding ones have been battling brushfires for about a month that they can't get a handle on.

Lin - Hidden Star Farm: The wind and dry weather has been brutal. Hopefully this rain will really knock them out finally and give them some relief.

Jennifer: We've been a lot colder than normal (around 0-2C) with some nasty cold wind and have gotten some light snow on a few days over the last 1-2 weeks. It's been weird weather for November

Lin Ryder: I have -10°C here at the moment. That's cold >< I think that's around 14F ..

shan: I'm glad I live so far south in Jersey. We're getting touches of rain, but the snow is sticking to the north. And I am NOT complaining. Cleaning snow off the top of a car that stands over a foot taller than you is NOT fun.
