Dana, Lamp Light Equestrian. Purchased from Marium, September 21, 2012.
The Egyptian Arabian is known for its flair, its exotic good looks, and its intensity and Faisal absolutely has all of the above. In 2012, Faisal was purchased from Bismallah Arabians International - the reknown Straight Egyptian Arabian breeder in Horses Forever. This colt demands attention in every show arena he enters. His stunning face, incredible movement, and stylish pizaaz is impossible to ignore and we think it makes him an incredible show horse and an even better breeding prospect. Looking to expand our Egyptian Arabian breeding program in the future, we jumped at the chance to bring Faisal to Lamp Light. He has already been wildly successful in his first two years of showing: in 2012, he was the RESERVE CHAMPION Arabian SEAF Colt at Scottsdale and the year before that he was WORLD TOP TEN at Salon.
Faisal comes from a line of successful show horses and athletes. His sire, Amer'Musad, also sired C&H Ranch's Optimus Prime CH - who has been very successful on the track and was also RESERVE CHAMPION Gelding at the Buckeye in 2012. Amer'Musad himself was unbeaten on the track his last year before retiring to stud. Faisal's dam - Vicente Rose - has a lesser known pedigree, but is herself known, for producing quality, athletic offspring. Sabar Masada AA is her 2006 foal and he has track winnings that total over $750,000. Sabar Masada has top three finishes in three different AJC Championship races and is a well known force on the race track. We look forward to watching Faisal's career on the track unfold and watching him grow more beautiful!
