Jennifer: Polish boyfriend makes a syrup out of onion and honey. Just chop 2 onions in a jar, layer them with honey (or sugar) and let it sit for 12-24 hours. Then take a couple spoonfuls of the resulting syrup a few times a day. Nov 11, 2024 4:23:12 GMT -6

Jennifer: Sounds disgusting (also smells completely unappetizing) but the syrup is actually pretty sweet. It's an old Babcia remedy used for many many years to combat cold/flu. Also gargling salt water is popular for sore throats Nov 11, 2024 4:24:38 GMT -6 *
