The HF Arabian Horse Association (AHA) is the longest running association in HF. Created originally as a show circuit in 2000 by Chelsea of Windblown LTD, it was actually a continuation of the pre-establish AHA found in HF's spin-off games Golden Horseshoes (later Equus) and Golden Horseshoes 2. By 2001 the AHA had full association status, and it has continued to grow and thrive throughout the years into one of the largest and most active associations found today. Over the years, the AHA has responded to the activity demands and desires of HF's population, and now boasts comprehensive show circuits with 44 shows (and sponsors 17 AJC races) catering to purebred Arabians, Half-Arabians, Egyptain-bred, Polish and Russian bred, Domestic and Crabbet bred horses competing in disciplines across the board, and also works in conjunction with the Arabian Jockey Club for flat racing Arabians and Half-Arabians. The AHA is co-run by founder Chelsea of Windblown LTD and Megan of C&H Ranch, with special events Arabian World Breeders Cup run by Amanda of New Harvest Arabians and the Pride Of Poland Sale and Polish Stud Book Approvals run by Chay of Datura Estates, and Dana of Lamplight Equestrian orchestrating the Half-Arabian District Series and the AHA Year End Awards.
A special THANK YOU to those Arabian and Half-Arabian owners who have made these last years so much fun!

An overview of what the AJC currently offers:
Standard AHA Circuit
The AHA's main halter, sport horse in-hand, and performance circuit with qualifying shows leading to the Tri-Nationals. Includes separate classlists for purebred Arabians and Half-Arabians (50% or more Arabian blood, for HF purposes).
International Halter Circuit
A series of qualifying international halter shows for purebred Arabians, including the prestigious Arabian Breeder's World Cup (run by Amanda of New Harvest Arabians) that ultimately lead up to the prized gem of all AHA shows, the Salon du Cheval World Championships.
Half-Arabian District Circuit
Pleasure disciplined Half-Arabians compete in qualifying shows for the Half-Arabian District Finals at the end of the year in this circuit run by Dana of Lamplight Equestrian.
Polish, Egyptian, and Crabbet Circuits
Split up throughout the year, and based on the horse's breed type, these shows hold a small qualifying series leading up to their own Nationals, with the exception of the National Crabbet Classic, which is only one show. Polish, Russian, and Polish X Russian bred horses are welcome in the Polish series, Straight Egyptian and Egyptian Related (for sim HF purposes this is simply 50% or more Egyptian blood) are welcome in the Egyptian series, and Crabbet, CMK, and Domestic bred horses are welcome in the National Crabbet Classic.
Elite Futurity Auction
Held before Scottsdale, our annual Elite Futurity Auction for stud services is a major event, and subsequent foals from these breedings are eligible for prestigious extra classes at Scottsdale, Buckeye, and Pacific Slopes Championship.
Sweepstakes Program
Geared toward encouraging the breeding of HF horses, as opposed to creating or importing, Sweepstakes sired horses are eligible to compete in special classes at the Tri-Nationals and the Salon du Cheval World Championships. Stallions are nominated by their owners in the Sweepstakes program, and foals born after that date are eligible to take advantage of the incentive classes.
Futurity Program
Geared toward encouraging the breeding of HF horses, as opposed to creating or importing, Futurity nominated horses are eligible to compete in special classes at the Tri-Nationals.
Pride Of Poland Sale and Polish Stud Book Approvals
Run by Chay of Datura Estates, the Pride Of Poland sale includes consignments of quality Polish and Russian stock in auction form. The Stud Book Approvals is open to only a very small few stallions who undergo rigorous evaluation to determine their eligibility to be called a Polish siring stallion, regardless of their heritage type.
Half-Arabian and Gelding Incentive Programs
Two programs that offer point incentives to members who choose to geld, and/or choose to breed Half-Arabians.
Legion of Merit Title System
An easy to follow reward system with titleship you can apply at the end of your horse's name so that it's level of achievement is easily recognized. Reaching the top title of Legion of Masters is a very prestigious thing in our highly competitive association!
Triple Threats
The Tri-Nationals include the Canadian Nationals, the Sport Horse Nationals, and the US Nationals. Additional Triple Crown incentive bonuses are available to horses who capture the championship title in their class at Scottsdale and any of the Tri-Nationals. Triple Crown bonus incentives are available to horses who capture champion in their Elite Futurity classes at Scottsdale, Buckeye, and Pacific Slopes Championships.
Year End Awards
The AJC likes to honor its competitors at the end of the year with these notable awards that last with the horse for his or her lifetime.
Professional Class Descriptions
We care about education and helping our members and their horses be successful! Maintained by Chelsea, a real life competition judge and AHA National Champion competitor, our accurate class descriptions complete with pictures and based on reality are a fantastic reference for all competitors to learn more about what their horse should show in, what classes are acceptable for cross entry, and more. We are always here to help if there are questions!
There is ALWAYS something going on at the AHA! Thank you for joining us in our AHA review, and we hope you enjoy the history we'd like to share with you below! Happy showing!
